Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in a display which can only be called sublime.
Djokovic has only dropped 11 games all tournament over three games after dispatching in-form Karen Khachanov in emphatic fashion in Dubai 6-2, 6-2.
In a match which only lasted 1 hour, 6 minutes, it was as the video below describes a clinic and one that as a result sees him keep his World Number One spot on Monday and rightfully so.
In terms of statistics, he hit 86 percent winning percentage on his third serve compared to just 48 percent from his opponent and took his break opportunities hitting 5/9 of his break points.
This is compared to only one out of two attempts from the Russian who could not crack the Serbian's unbeaten streak in 2020.
He is now 16 games unbeaten and will now take on Gael Monfils or Richard Gasquet who face off in the final Quarter-Final of the day. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Dan Evans are in the other semi-final after confirming their spot earlier today.
After not winning here since 2013 when he defeated Tomas Berdych in the final, is Djokovic on course for a fifth title in Dubai? Based off today's performance, it is hard to bet against him.
