Novak Djokovic, David Goffin and Andrey Rublev all advanced into the 3rd round at the Shanghai Masters after two-set victories.
All of the players remained on the court for just slightly more than an hour. First players to advance was one of the young Russian talents
Andrey Rublev. Rublev defeated Millman 6-2, 6-0, when he did not lose a single game since 3-2 in the first set.
Next player do advance was the 13-th seeded David Goffin, who faced Michail Kukushkin. The same as Rublev, he did not lose a game since 3-2 in the first game, but the Belgian did not need to play the whole page. His opponent retired at 3-0 and 30-0 in the second set.
The last player to get through from this trio was
Novak Djokovic. World number one played dangerous Denis Shapovalov, who he managed to beat in an hour and 11 minutes 6-3 and 6-3. Djokovic won already 6th match in a row without losing a set.
