Novak Djokovic and Carlos Gomez-Herrera won another match in Mallorca taking down number one seeds Granollers and Zeballos.
Novak Djokovic continued winning in Mallorca as he and his partner took down the number one seeds at the
Mallorca Championships. Djokovic's coach Goran Ivanisevic was outspokenly against a trip to Mallorca, yet it proved to be very fruitful for Djokovic.
They lost the first set with 6-4 and it seemed like they were on their way to defeat but never count out Djokovic. They fought off Granollers and Zeballos several times and ended up in the tiebreak. In it, they outplayed their opponents with 7-4 forcing a decider.
In the decider, Djokovic and Gomez-Herrera held their own extremely well against the number one seeds in the long tiebreak that was very exciting. Both pairings had a chance to win it, but ultimately, Djokovic and his partner came out on top, winning 10-8. They move on to the semifinals.
