Novak Djokovic will attend the ATP 250 event that was moved from Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina and he'll bring some players along such as Wawrinka and Monfils.
The event is generally held in Belgrade but was moved to Banja Luka due to renovations going on at the Novak Tennis Centre where it was usually held. The complex is being prepared to host an ATP 500 event in the future which Djokovic wants to bring to Serbia. This is the last edition of this event as it moves back to Budapest next year but we'll see a good field here.
Besides Djokovic, we'll see Monfils and Wawrinka who both confirmed their participation at the event. It was revealed by Djokovic's brother who is the tournament director. He said:
"When we started preparations for this tournament, we had big ambitions. Now, several months on, they are even bigger because we will welcome some of the most significant names in the world of tennis and, at the same time, offer fans in the region an opportunity to watch world-class tennis from the front rows."
Besides those players there are talks ongoing with Andrey Rublev who is the defending champion as well as Karen Khachanov and Frances Tiafoe. They have not been confirmed yet. The event is played in April.
