Djokovic knocks off Federer for yet another all-time tennis record

Novak Djokovic is breaking records all the time and his latest one came at the expense of Roger Federer who held it before that.
Records in sports are an interesting topic with public opinion widely divided on them. Some think they are important, others don't, yet they always present a very interesting statistic that can be used to put things into perspective. The all-time winning list against top 10 opponent gives you an insight on how players performer against, essentially the best, in tennis.
The former record-holder was Roger Federer who had the most wins against top 10 opponents at 223. Nadal had 178 wins against top 10 opponents while Djokovic had 223 prior to the US Open. With a win over Berrettini a day ago Djokovic now has 224 which is the most and it's officially a new record.
He is 9-2 in 2021 alone with the two losses coming to Nadal in Rome and Zverev at the Tokyo Olympics. Djokovic will likely play two more top ten players should he go all the way at the US Open which will allow him to extend the lead even further. His next match is against Alexander Zverev today.
