Novak Djokovic will not take any further part in the
Mallorca Championships doubles despite reaching the final earlier on Thursday.
Djokovic and his partner Carlos Gómez-Herrera saw off Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Oliver Marach, the number three seeds in a 6-3, 7-6 win as the World Number One looked towards a potential second doubles crown of his career and the first since 2010 at Queen's Club but this will now not happen.
This is due to a foot injury to Gómez-Herrera which has prevented them from playing the final.
Now Djokovic will head to Wimbledon to defend his fifth title with match practice under his belt albeit not in singles with a day extra to prepare due to not playing in Mallorca any further.
