Novak Djokovic will leave the top five in the
ATP rankings for the first time since 2018 after
Wimbledon in a ranking slide that he is powerless to stop due to the lack of ranking points on offer.
Djokovic will drop as low as World No.7 due to not being able to defend his Wimbledon points in a year where he has only won the Italian Open.
As well as losing points owing to his Australian Open visa controversy and with potential issues also playing at the US Open, it could yet get worse for the Serbian.
Also due to not playing before Wimbledon, there will be no smaller tournament win to potentially soften the blow so 2000 points will come off.
