"Djokovic will probably end up GOAT" - says Laura Robson

Former British player Laura Robson thinks that Djokovic will most likely end up being the GOAT but he deserves more respect.

Novak Djokovic is not the most respected member of the big three. Everybody knows that and he'll probably never end up being as respected as Nadal or Federer and it's very little to do with tennis. It's mostly the personality which has always been very outspoken and people don't like that very much. A couple of controversies did not help either and that's why many players have called for more respect for Djokovic.

The lack of respect mostly comes from fans anyways with fellow players having a lot of respect for everything that Djokovic was able to do. Robson was quite open about her tremendous respect for Djokovic as a whole saying:

“Every time I commentate on one of his matches, my Twitter blows up because there are so many people who are die-hard fans of his. They are committed. I do feel like he has a lot of fans. Compared to Nadal and Federer, they might not be as vocal in stadiums, but people just know them better from years and years of watching them. I feel Djokovic gets a lot of credit. He is probably going to end up as the greatest of all-time, so he deserves a lot more respect”.
