While
Novak Djokovic is in Australia and practicing ahead of the
Australian Open, a dark cloud still hovers over which is in regards to the information filled out with his visa upon entry.
But also his supposed positive COVID test which has been called into question due to him appearing in public in the days following.
Reports though from
Der Spiegel call this into question.
According to Max Hoppenstedt, who works for the German publication, the Unix timestamp on his positive test was December 26 at 14:21pm. However, the health documents given by Djokovic's lawyer claim the test is from the 16th.
But the timestamp on the negative test is that of December 22nd to prove he has recovered with the testing ID being higher of that of the negative for his positive indicating this was added to the database days after he tested negative/supposedly recovered from COVID-19.
This in turn adds to the mystery regarding the online QR code as reported by Ben Rothenberg which showed it was negative for an hour until it was reported to which it was then reported as positive.
Many have been trying to gain answers about this and it could yet be a sticking point in terms of Djokovic staying in Australia.
