World number 3 in the ATP Ranking, Dominic Thiem plans to organize an invitational exhibition tournament in Kitzbuhel.

he has won all 3 of the group stage matches. Now, he announced that he will organize his own tournament called Thiem's 7. The tournament should take place from 7th - 11th July 2020 in Kitzbuhel.
There should be a total of 8 players competing in a similar format as the ATP Finals are played. The players should be divided into two groups of 4 with first two from the group advancing to the semifinals. The first two known players are Dominic Thiem and
Gael Monfils. The tournament should also offer a 300,000€ prize money to the players.
"Together with Wolfgang and Dominic, who is in contact with the players, we will invite seven other top European players to Kitzbühel for a week. In addition to top-class matches and appropriate competition practice, the stars can spend a wonderful time with their families in Kitzbühel,” explain Herbert Günther and Markus Bodner in a press release.
“From Tuesday (July 7th) we are planning a day and a night session every day. In front of a limited audience and, of course, strictly in accordance with the regulations of the Austrian federal government applicable in July,” said tournament director Florian Zinnagl.
