During the ATP Tour suspension, nobody is able to catch up with Dominic Thiem in the number of exhibition tournaments played. Now, the Austrian adds one more as he organizes his own Thiem’s 7 that will take place in Kitzbuhel from 7th – 11th July.

The tournament is called Thiem’s 7 as it refers to 7 players or friends that ‘Domi’ invited to this tournament. We’ll see at least 5 players from the Top 20 of the ATP Ranking as the tournament promises to be a great spectacle.

There will be a total of 8 players competing in a similar format as the ATP Finals are played. The players are divided into two groups of 4 with the first two from the group advancing to the semifinals. The tournament also offers a 300,000€ prize money to the players.

Thiem’s 7 will be played in Kitzbuhel over 5 days from 7th – 11th July. Except for the matches which will count for the competition, fans will be also able to see exhibition matches of ‘Austrian Young Guns’ which will take place in between the real competition matches.

During the first 3 days of the competition, we’ll see a day and night session. The players will play in a Best of 3 format with the last set being a super tie-break. However, in the semifinals and the final, players will meet in the Best of 3 format with the third set being played as usual.
