The draw has been confirmed for Moselle Open Metz which will take place between 5-11 November, 2023 in France and acts as the gap between the Paris Masters and ATP Finals.
Holger Rune is the current top seed and will face either Thiago Seyboth Wild or Fabio Fognini in the second round. There are some doubts on whether he will actually play in Metz though as he has just lost in the Quarter-Finals in Paris and has also reached the ATP Finals.
Both Rune and Alexander Zverev seemingly signed up for tournaments in the week prior to boost their chances of making Turin. But both have now made it anyway. There was even the potential of Carlos Alcaraz playing either to boost his Year End No.1 chances, but that was merely a potential.
Alex de Minaur also made the latter stages in Paris and will be second seed, while Karen Khachanov, Ugo Humbert and Stan Wawrinka are the other main seeded players. Humbert in particular could face Dominic Thiem early on.
