Kyle Edmund defeated Liam Broady in the last match of the group stage at the Battle of the Brits to keep the clean sheet at the tournament.
After
Kyle Edmund defeated James Ward and
Andy Murray, he faced Liam Broady in his last match in the group stage of the
Battle of the Brits. The 25-years-old Brit already secured his semifinal spot but he still had a lot to play for.
Edmund is a proud fan of Liverpool F.C., a team that won the Premier League yesterday. Therefore, he brought some jerseys of the players on the court in his match against Broady.
His performance was the same as during the whole tournament. Edmund was almost flawless and defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-3 in just 80 minutes. In the semifinal, he'll face Paul Jubb or Cameron Norrie.
