The entry list for the 2023
Next Gen ATP Finals has been released
and it includes some of the most exciting young talents around.
The competition is set to be organised from November 28th
to December in Saudia Arabia’s city of Jeddah. The tournament will feature some
of the most highly-rated young players who are still in the very early stages of
their respective careers.
The most high-profile player to feature in the competition will
be French tennis star
Arthur Fils. The 19-year-old has already won an ATP title
in his young career. He has won 11 times on a hard court and eight times while
playing indoors. Another high-profile player is Switzerland’s Dominic
Stricker. The 21-year-old played in the competition last year as well but faltered
in the semifinal while facing Czech Republic’s Jiri Lehecka with a score of
4-1, 4-3, 2-4, 4-1.
Other players who will take part in the competition are
France’s Luca Van Assche, Italy’s Flavio Cobolli, Jordan’s Abduallah Shelbayh,
America’s Alex Michelsen, Italy’s Luca Nardi and Serbia’s Hamad Medjedovic. Last year, the competition was won by America’s Brandon
Nakashima who emerged victorious after defeating Lehecka in the final with a
score of 4-3, 4-3, 4-2.
