The Entry List for the ATP 250 Bucharest Open has been confirmed, one of the tournaments that kicks off the European clay swing, set to take place from March 31 to April 6, right after the Sunshine Double at the Miami Open.

The event features several clay-court specialists, led by Sebastian Baez, Flavio Cobolli, Pedro Martinez, and Nicolas Jarry.

Bucharest Open set for clay-court action

Argentine Baez (No. 34) is the top seed, not only due to his ranking but also because of his impressive form during the Golden Swing, where he won the Rio Open and reached the final at the Chile Open. A year ago, he claimed both titles.

Italian Flavio Cobolli (No. 40), aged 22, is in his first full season competing regularly on the ATP Tour in 2024 and continues to adapt to the highest level. Nevertheless, he has strong clay-court credentials, having won the French Open junior doubles title in 2020 (alongside Dominic Stricker) and securing five Challenger titles on the surface. He has also beaten Jarry, Alejandro Tabilo, and Ben Shelton on clay in the past year. However, he currently holds a winless 0-5 record in 2025.

Spaniards Pedro Martinez (No. 41) and Roberto Bautista Agut (No. 50) are also strong contenders for a deep run. Both are experienced on clay, with Bautista Agut holding two titles on the surface and Martinez one.

Chilean Nicolas Jarry—who withdrew from Indian Wells and the Miami Open—will make his return in Bucharest on a surface that suits him. Following a dip in form over the past few months, the South American will look to regain his best level during a crucial part of the season, as he defends a significant number of ranking points, including his first Masters 1000 final in Rome.

Other notable players in the field include Fabian Marozsan, Camilo Ugo Carabelli, Mariano Navone, Luca Nardi, and Corentin Moutet.
