The Estoril Open is the headline of the second week of clay action on the ATP Tour post Wimbledon in Europe and sees Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev and Luciano Darderi as top seeds.
It follows Gstaad and Bastad, both on clay this past week and it returns to the ATP Tour after a short absence. It was played in the years prior before it was axed for one year. It had to fall onto the ATP Challenger Tour.
But it did return for the 2026 season with the Portuguese tournament coming back in one of the most picturesque locations on the summer season.

Predictions Estoril Open 2026
Samuel GIll, Head Editor for TennisUpToDate.com sees Andrey Rublev continuing his form.
Andrey Rublev won the title emphatically this weekend in Bastad and I see that continuing as he faces Choinski or De Jong this week.
Alejandro Tabilo to face him late on and I think the winner comes from that section. Also I see good runs for Jaime Faria and Nuno Borges on home soil.
Luciano Darderi or Alexander Blockx to shine also. This after Casper Ruud decided against playing.
*** Andrey Rublev
** Alejandro Tabilo, Luciano Darderi
* Alexander Blockx, Jaime Faria, Nuno Borges

Alexander Blockx to thrive this week?
