Fake tweet about Carlos Alcaraz’s personal life leaves Brad Gilbert red-faced

Brad Gilbert who is the ex-coach of Andre Agassi and current coach of Coco Gauff seemed to fall innocuously for a fake quote made up from Carlos Alcaraz about the movie Challengers that he has a romantic situation with one of the main guys in the film.
The tweet which gained a lot of viral traction on social media as an account that is well known for fooling users with these wild quotes seemed to get Gilbert in this case. “I watched the movie yesterday and I liked it very much, very well made. What is funny is that I have a similar romantic situation with one of the main guys, but I am not going to say which players, I want to keep it as a secret," said the quote from account limuzinaxd who is well known for releasing these quotes and also people falling for them.
Examples have included ones about Alcaraz having a relationship with Emma Raducanu for instance and it seems that Gilbert unknowingly fell for it. He took to X to repost it and also do so again with the Challengers Twitter account. He trained the actors involved in the film as well as having a cameo. It has also led to his current charge Coco Gauff joking that he has left her for Hollywood after he couldn't attend certain tournaments recently.
