2024 Rome Open (Italian Open) ATP ENTRY LIST including Novak DJOKOVIC, Jannik SINNER, Carlos ALCARAZ, Daniil MEDVEDEV and Rafael NADAL (Update - 01-05)

The ATP Entry List has been confirmed ahead of the Rome Open (Italian Open) which is due to take place between 8-19 May 2024. Also known as the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, Daniil Medvedev is defending champion.
Medvedev won his first major title on clay defeating Holger Rune in a 7-5, 7-5 win last season. Also on the Entry List is led by World No.1, Novak Djokovic and home hero Jannik Sinner.
As well Spanish duo, Carlos Alcaraz as well as Rafael Nadal are confirmed on the initial Entry List. Nadal though will be a doubt after recent withdrawals and admitting he is unlikely to be ready for the Madrid Open and Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell in the coming weeks.
This will be the last chance though to gain matches for Nadal ahead of Roland Garros so will be a benchmark as to if he will be ready. Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, Holger Rune among others are also confirmed.

- Having spent weeks and weeks through the years on tour, I can say with confidence that Conchita was (is) one of the very few who realize the surprising level of maturity (and sometimes lack of) which Mirra seems to have developed in such a demanding adult world of Pro-Tennis. While at the same time reminding herself (Conchita, that is) that Mirra is still young and developing mentally and physically. The general public may forget at times, or not at all realize, these modern era young athletes do not have a 'normal' Youth. It's a major sacrifice, among countless sacrifices, these athletes must make.
