Roger Federer has confirmed his participation in the Laver Cup which takes place later this year in Boston.

Federer who is currently undergoing knee surgery; he will be out for three months revealed his intentions on Twitter.
Team Europe which included Federer and Rafael Nadal prevailed over Team World last year; while he’ll be competing again, Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe will also be back as captains.
It is unknown as of yet whether Nadal will compete again; but with Federer, the first player confirmed it will likely be confirmed in due course.
"I've never been to Boston and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the sights and playing tennis in front of their great fans" said Federer.
"The Laver Cup is like nothing else in world tennis and I'm sure playing in a city that loves its sport as much as Boston does, the atmosphere is going to be unreal. Each year gets tougher for Team Europe to hold back Team World, and Boston will be a whole new ball game."
