Roger Federer's playing career is over but returning to WImbleond is something he'll always be glad to do and this year he might do that as a broadcaster.
There has been much speculation about Federer joining tennis media after his career and while it's something he expressed interest in, it never happened. It could happen this year as the Swiss ace is reportedly in talks to join BBC for their Wimbledon coverage. That particular gig has been long advertised as something Federer would be willing to try and it seems to be happening.
According to reports he's in advanced talks to join the Wimbledon coverage team of Wimbledon. This year's team won't feature Boris Becker or the legendary Sue Perkins but it's still a very popular broadcast of the biggest tennis event of the year. It's also the place where Federer loved playing the most so it makes sense.
