Roger Federer has lended his final match kit ever won to the International Tennis Hall of Fame Museum where it was displayed recently.
Federer's final match happened at the 2022 Laver Cup, the event that he came up with and it was a fitting send-off. Partnering Nadal in doubles, Federer fought valiantly but they were defeated by Sock and Tiafoe. All in all, it was a magical night that will be remembered in tennis history forever.
The kit he wore that night was shipped to the International Tennis Hall of Fame where it was displayed in the museum. It's just one of many historic kits displayed there. Tennis Hall of Fame CEO Todd Martin said:
“This addition to the International Tennis Hall of Fame is a fitting
tribute to the final chapter in a defining career. We are tremendously grateful to Roger for this generous loan, and for
valuing our mission to preserve tennis history as it happens. The ITHF
congratulates Roger on all his achievements, the example he has set for
everyone in the sport, and for his dedication to the sport’s history. We
know this exhibit will inspire countless fans and visitors.”
