Federer misses out on nomination for ATP Fans' Favourite Award for first time in 19 years

Roger Federer won't win the ATP Fan's Favourite Award for the first time in 19 years as he's not an active player anymore.
Federer has been collecting that award for years now as it demonstrated his popularity around the world. No player was ever as popular as Federer was and it's hard to imagine that anybody will ever top that and the streak with this specific award most likely won't be topped either.
The first time he won it was in 2003 and he's been winning it ever since but that will stop this year as he's not eligible for it due to his retirement earlier this year. On top of this award, he also won the sportsmanship award 13 times and he won't contend for that one either.
