Roger Federer has claimed a tenth title at the Swiss Indoors in Basel defeating Alex de Minaur in a 6-2, 6-2 victory to delight the home crowd.

Federer was imperious throughout; with his win percentage on the first and second serve up towards the 80 percent mark.
He also hit 4/10 of his break point attempts in victory; with De Minaur not even given a sniff of a break point opportunity which in reality was the main difference between the pair in the end.
This was shown also with the points won; with his up towards the 60 range compared to 38 from his opponent. Like alluded to it's his tenth title in Basel and it acts as a sign of how imperious he is when it comes to playing in front of his home crowd.
He now heads to the Paris Masters, the latest ATP 1000 event which he will be hoping to take this form into ahead of the ATP Finals after defeating Peter Gojowczyk (6-2, 6-1), Radu Albot (6-0, 6-3), Stan Wawrinka (WO), Stefanos Tsitsipas (6-4, 6-4) in what has been an imperious week for the legendary Swiss ace.
