Felix
Auger-Aliassime has been announced as a fashion ambassador for Dior, joining
Emma Raducanu in the brand.
The
Canadian is currently the highest-ranked Canadian tennis player, and that
attracts major brands that want to take advantage of
Felix Auger-Aliassime's
image in their campaigns. The French luxury brand Dior announced the former
world No. 6 as its new ambassador.
“Tennis
star @FelixTennis joins the House as the newest Dior ambassador! Embodying the
spirit and timeless signature of the Dior men's creations by Kim Jones, the
athlete is pictured here in a sophisticated tailored suit look," wrote the
official Dior account.
Felix is
not the only tennis player who is an ambassador for the fashion brand. British
sensation Emma Raducanu caught the attention of the French brand shortly after
her incredible triumph at the 2021 US Open and was one of the first brands to
sponsor the 20-year-old tennis player.
With the
clay season underway, Auger-Aliassime has yet to play a match since the
"Sunshine Double," where he reached the quarterfinals at the BNP
Paribas Open Indian Wells (losing to the eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz) and
the third round of the Miami Open. It is expected that he will play his first
clay tournament of the season at the Madrid Open this week, where he is the
eighth seed.
