ATP Draw confirmed for 2023 Madrid Open including Alcaraz, Medvedev, Ruud, Tsitsipas and Rublev

The ATP Draw has been confirmed for the 2023 Madrid Open which will take place between April 24 - May 7 as one of the final ATP Masters 1000 tournaments before Roland Garros.

After a slew of withdrawals, Carlos Alcaraz is top seed and will headline alongside Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Taylor Fritz.

Alcaraz won last year thrashing Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-1 in the final. He will face Emil Ruusuvouri or Ugo Humbert.

Possible second rounds include Dominic Thiem facing Tsitsipas, while Medvedev could face Andy Murray who returns to clay despite admitting he could sit out the rest of the swing after Monte-Carlo.
