Fabio Fognini is through Italy's first tie of the Davis Cup Qualifiers with relative ease against one of Korea's best Duckhee Lee.

Fognini saw off Lee who is the ATP's first deaf tennis player in a 6-0, 6-3 win to put the country firmly in the driving seat in the early going.
Looking at the statistics, it was the 1st serve points won and break points which made a firm difference for the former with 75 percent compared to only 49 percent which is despite Lee having the better first serve in percentage.
In terms of break points it is 60 percent (6/10) for Fognini; compared to 20 percent (1/5) for Lee which meant he also eased through in the winners column 18-4.
