Frances Tiafoe has announced reunion
with Diego Moyano after ending his partnership with Wayne Ferreira.
The 25-year-old announced on Wednesday that his three-year
long association with coach Ferreira is finally coming to an end ahead of the
new season in a post on social media platform Instagram.
“Just wanted to say thanks to this guy,” he wrote as caption
of a picture with Ferreira. “Three years shared together… SHEESH we had a ton
of success. But sadly we’ve decided to part ways. Thanks for getting me to the
player I am today. Nothing but love and respect for you. My guy Wayne
Ferreira.”
On the same day, the current world number 16, in a post on
Instagram, announced that he will reunite with Moyano for the 2024 season.
“Happy to announce I’m starting my 2k24 with Diego Moyano
coaching me,” he wrote. “It’s a full circle moment from you helping me back at
the Usta days to now privately. Im excited for what’s to come. You one crazy
a** dude… Man you working the hell out of me but I can’t [wait] for it to all
pay off. Let’s get busy next year.”
The Maryland-born had decent time while playing at the
highest level in 2023 where he lifted two ATP titles as well.
