Although the 2023 Rome Open is scheduled to begin this week, top tennis stars Taylor Fritz and Casper Ruud were seen taking some time off as they paid a visit to Marco Simone Golf Club.
The main draw of the Rome Open runs from May 10-21, but the duo found time to go to the golf club, where they met European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald for a golf session.
Ruud, who appears to be an avid golfer during his spare time, took to social media to express his excitement at meeting up with Donald.
"Something exciting in the works. @therydercup @rydercupeurope@wimbledon," Ruud posted.
In one of the videos, Donald is shown taking a shot under the watchful eyes of Fritz and Ruud. The Norwegian was also seen taking a swing himself, and later met up with DP World Tour Italian Open winner Adrian Meronk.
