A couple of interesting matches happened at the
Delray Beach Open and we know who will play in the semi-finals on Saturday - Fritz v McDonald, Kecmanovic v Albot.
There was a chance that the last four players standing in Delray Beach were all American but it didn't happen that way.
Miomir Kecmanovic made sure of that when he defeated native player Marcos Giron to book the semi-final. It was a match where Giron was slightly favoured but Kecmanovuc used his college experience to find some familiarity on the court and win.
Radu Albot faced another American, Tommy Paul, and defeated him in two sets 6-2 6-2. It's a huge upset for the Moldovan player but it's not really that much of a surprise as he won this event in 2019. The other semi-final pairing will see two Americans battle it out so we will see at least one in the final.
Mackenzie McDonald proved better than compatriot Michael Mmoh beating him in three sets and advancing to the semi-final. Top seed
Taylor Fritz will be his opponent as he defeated Adrien Mannarino to get there. A good lineup for later today, don't miss it.
