It's still unclear whether Nadal will play at Wimbledon but all signs are pointing into that direction with Roddick backing him for a strong showing.
Roddick emphasized Nadal's excellence on grass, reminding everyone that the 14-time Roland Garros champion has won Wimbledon twice. The American, however, also expressed wariness about Nadal's preparations following the radiofrequency procedure on his left foot:
"Is Rafa Nadal, did that procedure help? Is he going to be able to play well on the grass? When he is there, he is very good on grass. We always forget that he has won Wimbledon twice, right? We don't give him enough credit just because he's so good on clay."
It's unclear what Nadal's intentions are but he has already spent some time on the court, albeit behind closed doors. It's rumoured he might prepare for Wimbledon at the Mallorca Championships one week before Wimbledon.
