Roger Federer is not done with tennis and Mark Philippoussis strongly believes in his comeback especially after seeing how much passion the Swiss ace has for the game.
Roger Federer has a lot of passion for the game of tennis and anybody who has ever watched him understands that very well. It's one of the reasons why he is widely considered as one of the best to ever do it, if not best by many. For Mark Philippoussis, it's also one of the reasons why he believes that the Swiss ace will come back to tennis once more.
Speaking about Federer he noted how much passion Federer shoed during his French Open match against Dominik Koepfer. A match that lasted five sets and was played in front of the empty stands of the Court Philippe-Chatrier:
"The biggest thing for me was watching him at this year's French Open where there were no crowds. He was playing five sets, fighting, pumping his fists. That shows how much he loves the game. His passion is incredible."
That match, unfortunately, created a lot of wear on his knee and Federer was forced to withdraw from the event in order to be able to play at Wimbledon. That story did not conclude well either and everyone is hoping that a 6-0 final set loss to Hurkacz is not the last memory of Federer of Wimbledon. Only time will tell.
