The 2025 Moselle Open will be held from November 2 to 8 at the Arènes de Metz, played on indoor hardcourt. The tournament will offer a competitive field with 9 players inside the top-40.
It will be a final opportunity to take the court for a good portion of the stars, led in the draw by Félix Auger-Aliassime (No. 9), the main favorite for the title, who will arrive looking to add points that allow him to qualify for the ATP Finals. Musetti's elimination in the Round of 32 in Paris makes it clear what Auger-Aliassime needs to earn his spot in the ATP Finals in Turin.
Musetti, now out of the competition, reached 3,685 points in the Race and currently sits in the 8th place, 390 points ahead of Auger-Aliassime (3,295). The Canadian is still active in Paris, and only if he reaches the final will he surpass Musetti this week. Otherwise, he will have one last chance in Metz, with 250 points on offer.
On the other hand, Alexander Bublik (No. 15) will also return to the courts, a player who feels especially comfortable on indoor hardcourts, with three titles on the surface. The Kazakh has realistic chances of reaching the top-10 if he continues to accumulate wins in Paris – and then has a good campaign in Metz. With 4 titles this season and as the second seed, he will surely be one of the names to consider in search of the trophy.
The draw will feature a total of 9 players from the top-40, including Flavio Cobolli (No. 22), Cameron Norrie (No. 27), 2025 Shanghai Masters' runner-up Arthur Rinderknech (No. 28), Corentin Moutet (No. 30), and Learner Tien (No. 38). Other significant names are also added – despite having fallen in the ranking – such as World No. 58 Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and the Italian Matteo Berrettini.
