Friday 11 July marks semi-final day in the men's tournament including the landmark tie as
Novak Djokovic faces
Jannik Sinner at
Wimbledon. Here is how to watch the match in full on Friday.
Sinner comes into the latter stages of the tournament after surviving a scare against Grigor Dimitrov and an injury as he had an elbow issue which restricted him during the opening stages. Dimitrov though dramatically retired after being up two sets.
He then sped past Ben Shelton in the next round and it could be a short term blip en route to a title success for the first time for the Italian. While Novak Djokovic has only really survived a scare against Flavio Cobolli.
The Italian posed him a danger but he found a way through. He is looking for an eighth Wimbledon title and is looking good again after a few months without much success.
Sinner leads their Head-to-Head 6-4 last winning in the semi-finals of the French Open this year. But Wimbledon is Djokovic's house so it will. be interesting to see how he tackles this landmark showdown.
In addition,
Taylor Fritz will tackle
Carlos Alcaraz in another showpiece tie. Alcaraz is still the favourite to win the title in London having won it in the last two years and so will be intriguing to see how he deals with Taylor Fritz.
Fritz comes off a winning streak winning Eastbourne again and has looked apart from a few scares pretty superb in his run-in. Albeit he will be hoping for Sinner over Djokovic if he reaches the final, his record against the Serbian is pretty poor and if he doesn't face him, it could lead to a maiden Grand Slam.
In the women's on Thursday, Amanda Anisimova is taking on Aryna Sabalenka. While Belinda Bencic takes on Iga Swiatek so the first final will be set.
In terms of TV, the tie will be shown on all the regular channels in the UK, USA and Australia. The BBC show the tournament in full so will show both ties on Friday in the UK. This changes for the final with TNT Sports showing the final in full for both men's and women's as well with alternative commentary.
USA will show it as ever on ESPN and Tennis Channel. While Australia receive coverage on Stan Sport. Full listings below for a weekend of cracking sport.
