Hurkacz and Paire finalise semi-final line-up at ASB Classic in Auckland

Hurkacz came through a tough clash with Feliciano Lopez winning 6-4, 6-7 (13-11), 6-4; backing up wins against Mikael Ymer and Lorenzo Sonego. This included 11 aces; as well as winning 3/10 of his break points.

Next up will be Paire who himself also lost a set en route to his victory against John Millman, the number five seed won 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 easing through; with a brilliant 13 aces after the early scare; he will set his sights on a pre-Australian Open crown; if he can get past Hurkacz in a match to look forward to in Auckland.
