Roger Federer withdrew from Rolex Paris Masters after victory at the Swiss Indoors in Basel.

The Swiss 20-times Grand Slam champion indicated a lot of times that he wants to play less, in order to be fresh to play longer. Having Swiss Indoors and Paris Masters one after another, Federer probably wanted to choose just one and so he obviously decided for the tournament in Basel where he won his 10th title.
In the second round in Paris, Federer was set to face Albot, but after his withdrawal lucky looser Seppi will replace Roger.
"I am extremely disappointed to have to pull out," said Federer. "I want to play as long as possible on the ATP Tour. I'm sorry for my French fans who I'll see at Roland Garros in 2020."
