Novak Djokovic took to social media to share a hilarious response to the hostile crowd at the
Monte-Carlo Masters after he took down Lorenzo Musetti in the third round in Monaco. He will now face Alex de Minaur in the Quarter-Finals.
Djokovic eventually won 7-5, 6-3, but not after weathering adversity. Musetti broke Djokovic's serve in the first game and maintained a lead until 4-3 in the tie. However a line-call annoyed the Serbian which was awarded to the Italian. The crowd started booing after Djokovic expressed his annoyance. But also he is often the subject of a hostile atmosphere.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion in no mood mimicked an orchestra conductor and then silenced the crowd by breaking his serve and eventually sealed the win. He took to X and also Instagram to share a picture of him as the conductor. He wrote: "I dedicate this victory to the orchestra." Next up is De Minaur who has a win over Djokovic this season at the United Cup, but will he be conducting them again or hit a bum note?
