"I didn't know any of the Big Three" - Taylor Fritz's girlfriend admits to not knowing much about tennis before dating the American

American tennis star Taylor Fritz has worked hard on his game to make a name for himself on the ATP Tour, but not everyone was aware of his accomplishments or lifestyle, according to his girlfriend Morgan Riddle.

Riddle, who has been dating Fritz for a while now, is an Instagram and TikTok personality who posts snippets of their lives and exploits on social media. In a recent episode of the Hold On To Your Racquets podcast hosted by Josefina Gurevich and Shravya Pant, Morgan opened up about her transition from a corporate job to a tennis girlfriend and social media star. She said that before meeting Fritz, she hardly knew anything about tennis.

Furthermore, she stated that being from Minnesota, her family and most people there have little knowledge about tennis as the community is more focused on hockey. Riddle even admitted she did not have any idea about the triad of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic prior to meeting Fritz.

“I think the reason for me that I was so interested to bring it to a new audience is I didn’t know a thing about tennis until Taylor and I started dating," revealed Riddle. "You know, before him and I met, I was like , ‘Does he play college tennis?’ What is the ATP? My whole family is a hockey family. Not a soul from Minnesota plays tennis. I didn’t know any of the Big 3,"

Fritz on the other hand has had arguably the best season of his career thus far, defeating Rafael Nadal in the final at Indian Wells to win his maiden ATP Masters 1000 trophy.
