Aryna Sabalenka revealed that the celebrations for the
Australian Open win very quite lively with her team getting drunk but her remaining sober.
Sabalenka is a model professional and she didn't drink during her Australian Open victory celebrations. Her team did though as the Belarussian revealed during an interview in Indian Wells. She explained what she did and what her team did after the triumph and it was vastly different:
"Can I say that (smiling)? Like straight after the title, we went back to the hotel and all my team was drunk. (Laughter.) I don't know how many liters they drink that day. There was the most funny and, yeah, memorable moment.
She pretty convincingly marching to another final this year and she'll get there if she beats Maria Sakkari in the semi-final. It seems like though she has had her troubles in the past against the Greek player:
"It's always tough battles against [Kvitova and Sakkari]. I think it's going to be long rallies because of the court. I think if I'll be able to bring my best tennis and I will be able to stay focused from the beginning until the end, I think, yeah, I can get this win."
