"I must be really focused": Alcaraz ready for tough battle against Zverev at Madrid Open

Carlos Alcaraz saw off Grigor Dimitrov on Sunday evening in a 6-2, 7-5 win for the home hero Spaniard as he reached the Last 16 with a tie against Alexander Zverev up next.

Alcaraz spoke about facing the German ace post match and despite a recent return from injury, he has shown a good level at Caja Magica this week and the former knows he has to be ready.

“We played a few times. He’s up in head to head. I really want to show my great level in front of my home crowd. I have great memories in last years final. I must be really focused. I know Sascha’s a really good player. I must show all my skills."
