Andy Murray took part in Q and A session at the Erste Bank Open where he revealed a lot of things about himself that casual fans might not know.
Andy Murray played a match at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna yesterday. His opponent was Carlos Alcaraz and the Spaniard was able to overcome Murray in two close sets but one day before the match Murray took part in a Q and A session where he answered some questions. The first one was about his favourite Austrian dish and he explained it's the Sachertorte (a chocolate cake).
The next question was regarding who should play Murray in a film and he said 'Sean Connery'. Asked what he does when he gets back home he said:
"I'll dump my bags at the front door and then I spend the next two hours being bossed around by my children. play different games and so on."
Asked what he would like to be doing had he not been an athlete Murray said:
"I'd like to fly, like a pilot. I'm actually a little bit afraid of flying, I get nervous. A few times I've been in the cockpit and I've been more comfortable, I know what's going on out there. That would be good."
About foreign languages Murray said:
"I would love to speak Spanish. I think if you have English and Spanish it's brilliant. But that's one that's achievable. One that isn't is Mandarin. I saw
Emma Raducanu speaking Mandarin when she won US Open and I was very jealous."
