Novak Djokovic always strived to perfect his game and that is why he has talked about training, recovery, and sports in general with many other great talents trying to understand what helped them become as great as they have become. In a talk with Essentially Sports Djokovic revealed just some of the names with whom he has talked about things:
“I was close with Kobe Bryant, as well as Monica Seles, Andre Agassi and Boris Becker, who were my coaches, and Pete Sampras. I have spoken often with them, and I speak with Tom Brady frequently about training and recovery."
It's an impressive list of sportspeople that all have dominated their respective games at times and Djokovic simply enjoys talking things with them. He seeks both to learn new things and share some of the things that helped him or hindered him in his career. He said:
“I make an effort to make use of the opportunity to share something with all sportsmen and sportswomen, things that aided me or hindered me, and I ask questions, especially to those who have reached the pinnacle of their sport."
