Nenad
Zimonjic, Novak Djokovic's temporary coach, commented on his role following
Djokovic's split with his former coach Goran Ivanisevic in March. Zimonjic was
part of the team led by the Croatian and has known Djokovic for several years,
but he has yet to decide whether he will continue in the role.
In
just 18 months, Djokovic has already changed agents, physiotherapists, and
fitness coaches, in addition to notably splitting with his coach of the last
five years, with whom he won 10 Grand Slam titles.

reflects on partnership with Djokovic
The
former Grand Slam doubles champion accompanied Djokovic during his
participation in the Monte-Carlo Masters: "Novak asked me, 'Can you be
there for the training sessions, for the matches?' Because I know him very
well," he said during an appearance on the Majstorija TV show.

The
former doubles world No. 1 hinted at the possibility of them continuing to work
together in the future: "On the other hand, he is someone who has
tremendous respect for me and knows how much I know. I'm glad that I was able
to help, and it was a great experience for me."
“I
am considering that as well, whether I should or shouldn’t have the coach,” he
recently told The Guardian. “I had a really good time with Nenad Zimonjic as
my coach the last three weeks so we’re talking about continuing and seeing.
Let’s see, I’m going to make the decision in the next period.”
