Novak Djokovic got beaten by
Holger Rune at the Rome Open and he joked about the loss after the match revealing that he'd ask him for tips ahead of Roland Garros.
Djokovic and Rune played their 3rd match at the Rome Open with the Danish rising start jumping out ahead 2-1 in the H2H. It was another strong showing from him and when Djokovic was asked whether he would give Rune tips for Roland Garros, Novak turned it around admitting he will ask him for tips:
"I'm going to ask him tips. He beat me twice we played against each
other, so... I have no tips for him. So far he's doing very well.
I know I can always play better. Definitely am looking forward to
working on various aspects of my game, of my body, hopefully getting
myself in 100% shape. That's the goal."
Both of them will be among those that many consider favourites to win Roland Garros and maybe we see their 4th clash at the event as well. We'll see what the future holds but both will need to improve a bit in order to really be contenders at Roland Garros. Carlos Alcaraz is still widely considered as the biggest favourite.
