Holger Rune fought back from a break down in the final set to defeat 6x

It was a very emotional match for Rune who was able to handle it quite well considering how much passion he brings to the sport. He outplayed Djokovic in crucial moments winning the biggest trophy in his career and becoming a top 10 player. In his own words, it was a perfect finish:
"It means everything to me, a perfect way to finish the week. It's a privilege to share the court with Novak."
He added:
“I’m feeling lovely to be honest, it’s the best feeling. If you told me four weeks ago, I would be Top 10… I would be like ‘What, sorry?’. Now I’m here and I’m super proud.”
The final game of the match was a very long one that featured multiple break points for Djokovic and Rune called it the most stressful one of his life:
"It was the most stressful game of my life. My heart was almost in my brain. I was already starting to think about the tie-break. I'm very proud I could finish it."
