Cameron Norrie will have a chance to play for the BNP Paribas Open trophy which would be his biggest trophy by far if he wins it.
A lot of things need to go right for Norrie to do so but the British player has been the most consistent and best performer so far at the tennis event in
Indian Wells. Several impressive wins are on his resume and the Brit is not looking like he is stopping. His match against Dimitrov proved just how determined he is and after the match he said:
"It was the biggest match of my career, following on from yesterday, which was the biggest match. There was even more pressure today. I came out and played really physical. Grigor was maybe a little tired from the other matches, but he fought hard and made it physical at the start of the second set, which wasn't easy."
With the win, Norrie advanced to his 6th final of the year tying Novak Djokovic for most on Tour level. He also reached a final on all three surfaces which, also, was only done by Djokovic this year. Admittedly Norrie won only one of those 5 played but he is not worried about that score as he believes himself capable and ready for the challenge. He said:
"I've been playing a lot of big matches this year, which has helped. I feel like I am used to the big moments and the big matches. I'm feeling more and more comfortable and I feel like I am playing on my terms in key moments."
