Watching Andy Murray compete on the courts have been a pleasure for many tennis players including Andrey Rublev. The former world number one was effectively retired after multiple surgeries but the urge to continue playing prevailed and Murray is showing a very good level lately. After their match Rublev said:
"It’s a big pleasure and honour to share the court with Andy. I don’t know where he is, I think he has left... doesn’t matter... Ah, no!. He’s still here!. Yeah, now I can see you."
Rublev was also asked about winning a medal at hte Olympic games to which he responded:
"It’s something that happens only once in four years, and every athlete dreams about this and works super hard to compete in the Olympics. To win a medal is like a double dream. And in the end, when you’re there, maybe you don’t realize it, but then when the moment comes and it’s the final and you make it, it’s a surreal feeling”.
