It's snowing....in April? BMW Munich Open suspended for bizarre reason as Holger RUNE begins campaign

A tournament already that has been fraught with rain delays aplenty and also poor conditions, the BMW Munich Open isn't going too well with Holger Rune still waiting to play his opener. Taylor Fritz for instance got away unscathed and into the next round, but the latest suspension was for a truly bizarre reason.

There has been rain so far today, but cue the snow which has descended on the German city. Bizarrely in April when Europe starts some semblance of Spring depending on where you live, it is going against the grain with a more January feel to the conditions.

Other clashes slated today include Yannick Hanfmann taking on Marc Andrea Huesler, Botic van de Zandschulp will face Jan-Lennard Struff and for Felix Auger-Aliassime, it is Taro Daniel awaiting. Alex Michelsen was one set up in the opening match of the day when he was halted. Only Fritz who saw off Alejandro Moro Canas in a 6-3, 6-1 win was able to complete his win.
