Former world number one Garbine Muguruza believes that her fellow countryman and legendary tennis star Rafael Nadal has done enough to enjoy his retirement life. The 38-year-old is regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of men’s tennis in the singles category, having won as many as 22 Grand Slam titles.
Nadal has struggled with fitness concerns in the recent past. It was because of this reason he was forced to miss three out of four Grand Slams in 2023. During his time off the court, he announced that the 2024 season would be his last at the highest level. "This is a team competition and to really support Team Europe, I need to do what’s best for them and at this moment there are other players who can help the team deliver the win."

Go home, take the boat, go in Mallorca.’ I think he gave everything he had.”
