Jack Draper beats Musetti to secure Next Gen ATP semi-finals

The winner of the Musetti and Draper match would go directly into the semi-final and it was the night of the Brit who won 4-1 4-0 4-3(3).

It was not a very good match by Musetti who was heavily outplayed by the British player. The Italian seemed to have some issues with his hand as well which gave him problems as he tried to shorten the points which isn't how he plays generally.

It was particularly evident towards the end of the match where he kind of tanked the final few points. Draper entered the match very energetically wanting to secure the semi-final and he was able to do that with a combination of good play and good serving.

He had 11 aces and dropped only three points behind his first serve en route to the straight sets victory. He had 23 winners and only 5 unforced errors in the entire match. Musetti posted a 10-23 ratio which is where the difference was.
