Jack Draper picked up his second win in Lyon by taking down Miomir Kecmanovic 6-4 7-5 polishing up his game ahead of Roland Garros.
Draper missed much of the clay season due to injuries but he returned in Lyon to get some matches in before the big event. So far it's been going well as he showed a high level in the first match there following it up with another strong showing against Kecmanovic. It was a straight-set win for the Brit.
The first set saw Draper fall behind early 2-4 after not being able to hit as well as he had hoped. Rather quickly he would find his rhythm and take over the match winning four games in a row to take the opening set 6-4. He didn't serve as well as Kecmanovic and that certainly trouble him as well.
The second set didn't see him serve that much better but he played much better. Kecmanovic was pretty solid as well which is why Draper had to wait until the final game of the match to get a break point. He got it and converted it immediately to finish off the match 7-5. A nice quarter-final for Draper in Lyon.
